The S100 is our first step into a newly emerging series, where the letter “S” refers to the slipjoint mechanism used. This model also features a full-length spacer along the spine, contributing to the knife’s strength, ergonomics, and overall functionality — and that’s precisely what sets the S100 apart from our previous slipjoint models in the Z series. The new S series brings pocket knives designed with a focus on simplicity, functionality, and everyday usability, representing the next step in the evolution of ANV folding knives.

The S100 is ideal for moments when there’s no need to act quickly, open a knife with one hand, or attract unnecessary attention. Thanks to the absence of a lock and its two-handed opening, it is the perfect choice for users looking for a reliable EDC tool even in countries with stricter knife regulations. The elongated teardrop-shaped cutout on the blade makes opening easier and gives the knife a clear and easily recognizable design element.

For the first time in the history of our knives, we’re using Sandvik stainless steel, which offers excellent corrosion resistance and is cryogenically hardened to 56–58 HRC. The 3 mm blade thickness ensures confidence during typical everyday tasks. The ANV Swedge blade with a drop point profile is complemented by an elegant stonewash finish, and the blade runs smoothly on ball bearings.

The G10 handle draws from structural elements of our previous models but introduces a new approach to grip. A rougher texture in the upper area along the spine provides a secure hold even in demanding use, while the smoother lower section adds to overall comfort. The index finger cutout serves not only as an ergonomic guide but also as a subtle guard. Despite weighing only 68 grams, the longer handle combined with its carefully shaped form ensures a solid and confident grip.

On the reverse side, you’ll find a redesigned, ambidextrous, and discreet deep pocket clip — this time with a rounded end for more comfortable handling, especially when sliding it into your pocket. Another signature detail is the luminous ANV Lumidot.
