Product detailed description
Starting from the tip. The blade of the A200 is made out of Sleipner or Elmax steel hardened to 58-60 HRC with deep cryo treatment for even better performance. On top of already great steel we've put a DLC coating, so it is now more durable and also does not give out any unwanted reflections. The blade profile is now classical ANV swedge with high flat grind that ensures superb cutting capability.
Coming towards the center you'll notice we've used a thumb stud-like ANV button for opening, which is perfect for one hand use and also features our ANV lumidot. You can simply place your thumb on top of it and comfortably lead the blade open.
Speaking of opening. For the first time ever, we've put in this model our Alock. It's very safe, comfortable to use and fully ambidextrous locking mechanism. The locking pin features sharp enough design to ensure safe manipulation and a contrasting red index for easy and fast navigation.
Coming down towards the scales. Here you'll notice we've added just enough coarse G10 texture exactly where it's needed and kept large portions of the handle smooth. We see the A200 as EDC first, so too aggressive grip is not a target here.
At the back section of the lightweight, milled out G10 handle you'll find beautiful contrasting spacers that not only hold the whole back tight together, but can also be used for your favorite lanyard or loop.
Last but not least, the pocket clip. At the very end of the handle there's reversible deep carry ANV wire pocket clip that ensures comfortable, yet safe carry and complete discreteness thanks to its black coating and pen-like appearance.
